Fort Walton beach is very proud to have a
national historic landmark. The Indian Temple Mound Museum and Park is
a monument to native Americans. The Indian Mound Temple originally served
as a religious and civic center that has been preserved to this day. There
are numerous exhibits that describe the trial and tribulations of native Americans
dating back 10,000 years. If you live in or are visiting the Fort Walton
Beach area check out Indian Mound Temple Museum and learn about the Indians
that used to live in this area.
